The Saturn 1B was used to launch the Apollo spacecraft into Earth orbit for various missions such as Apollo 7, Skylab, and ASTP. It was also used for various unmanned test missions for Apollo hardware.

Saturn 1B SA-203

The SA-203 mission was an unmanned flight on July 5, 1966. It carried no spacecraft, as its purpose was to verify the design of the S-IVB stage restart capability. It successfully achieved its objectives, but the stage was inadvertently destroyed after four orbits.
